Job Summary
Welcome and exit members with hellos and goodbyes, provide gracious telephone service, and answer customer questions regarding business policies. Anticipate member needs, resolve concerns, and deliver prompt customer service while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment. Accept payments, give change, and issue receipts. Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift and communicate product benefits and promotions to drive revenue. Weekday overnight hours based on club needs; discuss availability with the Hiring Manager. Requires high school diploma, six months retail customer service experience, or one year fitness experience. Must be 18 or older and comfortable with a flexible rotating schedule involving lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year Fitness experience
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
- Friendly and Professional able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed
