Job Summary
Reconcile daily transactions and account for all outlet totals in accordance with set policies. Assist in closing daily work for all outlets by balancing Maestro Room Charges with Micros & Pars totals. Perform daily system backups and maintenance, input POS summary information into revenue spreadsheets, and post daily revenue into accounting software. Balance credit card postings and transmit data through Guest Plus & PB Admin systems for settlement. Ensure proper distribution and filing of daily accounting reports, notify outlets of discrepancies, and document situations with the Night Audit Supervisor. Provide backup support for Front Office and Communications during breaks.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- College degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Extensive knowledge of Maestro Front Office System
- Complete understanding of all POS systems and how they maintain & process information
- Knowledge of MICROS & PARS POS systems and procedures to process nightly reports, backups, etc
- Basic IBM PC skills
- Knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to formulas and spreadsheet integration
- All employees at least 21 years of age or older
