Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and Black Card Spa areas, including operating floor scrubbers and vacuuming gym floors. Greet members and guests, process sign-ups, billing updates, cancellations, and retail transactions, while answering phones and conducting prospective member tours. Address maintenance concerns such as broken equipment or leaky faucets promptly and ensure the safety of all facility occupants. Work a 10:00 pm to 6:00 am shift at this 24/7 Planet Fitness location, utilizing basic computer and point-of-sale skills to deliver exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work the 3rd shift – 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
- High School diploma/GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer and Point of Sale proficiency
- Continual standing and walking during eight-hour shift
- Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
- Occasional climbing, balancing, twisting, kneeling and crouching in small areas during shift
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
- Occasional moving and repositioning of heavy exercise equipment
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals
Desired Qualifications
- Custodial experience
- Some experience in a customer service environment
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
