Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and Black Card Spa areas during the 10:00 pm to 6:00 am shift. Greet members, prospective guests, and callers while managing member functions such as sign-ups, billing updates, cancellations, and retail transactions. Handle basic maintenance repairs, address facility concerns, and ensure the safety of members and club property. This role supports Planet Fitness's mission to provide a welcoming, judgement-free environment at one of over 2,000 locations worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work the 3rd shift – 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
- High School diploma/GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer and Point of Sale proficiency
- Continual standing and walking during eight-hour shift
- Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
- Occasional climbing, balancing, twisting, kneeling and crouching in small areas during shift
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
- Occasional moving and repositioning of heavy exercise equipment
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals
Desired Qualifications
- Custodial experience
- Some experience in a customer service environment
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
