Job Summary
Overnight Full-Time Custodian for Central Church. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, classrooms, and common areas; daily sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting; emptying trash and recycling; keeping entryways clean; setting up and tearing down chairs, tables, staging, and equipment for events; ensuring rooms are reset after meetings or events; supporting weekend services with stocked restrooms and spaces; responding quickly to spills and urgent cleaning needs; operating cleaning equipment; assisting with light maintenance (bulbs, basic repairs); restocking supplies and maintaining custodial inventory; representing church values through professionalism and service; ability to work nights Sunday–Thursday 9:00 PM–5:30 AM; compensation based on experience; in-person work in Sioux Falls, SD.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to support church events
