Job Summary
Distribute monies to gaming guests via check cashing and convert coins and gaming checks into currency. Ensure accountability of all transactions through verification and documentation while maintaining funds entrusted on a shift basis. Operate assigned customer and employee windows, including Poker Room and Chip Bank, performing all money-handling tasks in a confidential manner. Adhere to regulatory policies, maintain internal controls through immediate reporting of shortages or discrepancies, and supply currency, coin, and gaming checks for all money-handling departments. Work any day of the week, including holidays and weekends, while tolerating high noise levels and bright lights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Minimum six months to a year of cash handling experience
- Knowledgeable in data entry
- Ability to read and interpret output from a computer
- Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends
- Pass background check and MO Gaming License Process
- Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping
- Dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.)
- Ability to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs. or more
- Ability to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
