Job Summary
Meet and greet all guests arriving by any transportation, assist with luggage retrieval from vehicles, and escort guests and bags into the lobby for registration. Point out existing vehicle damage, explain valet parking procedures, and park cars securely while marking key tags with guest details. Provide directions to the registration area, answer questions regarding transportation, hotel services, and local points of interest, and personally carry luggage to rooms or use carts. Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times, responding promptly to guest requests and issues. Work as a team to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional guest experiences throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have general knowledge of basic customer service skills
- Must be fluent in oral and written English
- Must have knowledge of local establishments, businesses and the surrounding community in general
- Must be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a driving record that meets the needs of our insurance carrier
- Must be able to see objects and people up close and at a distance
- Must be able to grasp handles, carry bundles and lift packages
- Must be able to continually push, lift and carry up to 65lbs throughout the hotel during entire shift
- Must be able to work in a physically strenuous environment with prolonged standing, walking, climbing stairs, and intermittent exposure to outside elements
Desired Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience desirable
