Job Summary
Guide and supervise employees on airfield ramp operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Coordinate daily crew activities, train new hires, and inspect completed work including manual removal and replacement of aircraft seat covers. Complete daily shift reports documenting work, accidents, injuries, or incidents. Remove and replace fabric and leather seat covers, stretching and tugging them repeatedly to secure a fit, while maintaining a clean workspace. Practice safe work methods, follow airline-specific seat care guidelines, and remain physically present to meet productivity standards. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, prior airfield driving experience, and completion of airport security badge training.
Required Qualifications
- At least one full year of airfield ramp supervisory experience in ground handling or cabin cleaning
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 full year, with clear driving record
- Previous airfield driving experience
- Airport security badge (must be able to attain and maintain active status)
- Proficient English
- Able to take direction from supervisory staff
- Able to follow airline-specific guidelines with tasks pertaining to the seat care management process
- Safety conscious work approach
- Must be physically capable to execute the duties of this labor-intensive position
- Must be able to perform repetitive upper body movement while pulling 50 lbs. constantly and over 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to perform other constant movements: Bending, Handling/fingering, Reaching, Repetitive movement, Squatting/kneeling, Standing, Walking, Overhead pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be physically present at work on all scheduled days/times to meet workload productivity standards
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday shifts
- Must be available for work hours 9:00 PM - 4:00 AM
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
