Job Summary
Apprentice overhead crane technician responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment in field settings. Tasks include installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, ordering parts, maintaining maintenance reports, and responding to breakdowns. Requires hands-on electrical experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a team, with strong communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in elevated areas, and have a valid G license. Located in Aylmer, Ontario with remote-work flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent
- 1 Year of Hands on Electrical Experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Welding experience considered an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Able to work in elevated areas
- Available to work overtime as required
- Must have reliable own transportation, G License and driver’s license in good standing
