Overhead Crane Service Technician II

Job Summary
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment at customer production facilities. Perform daily diagnostic imaging coverage including travel to client sites, with some overnight travel possible. Work extended hours, holidays, and weekends as required, operating company phones and computers to complete electronic forms. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted while standing or walking 95% of the workday. Subject to working at considerable heights and exposure to hot and cold conditions. DeSHAZO enhances products by providing expert inspections, repairs, modernizations, or rebuilds for custom-built cranes and tailor-made automation systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of crane service technician or industrial electrician experience
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills
- Willingness to travel and work in production environments (some overnight travel is possible)
- Good driving record to be covered under the DeSHAZO insurance policy
- Ability to operate company phone and computer
- Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner
- Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday
- Lift /Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently
- Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance
- Hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
- Depth perception and peripheral vision
- Ability to hear
- Ability to work frequently at considerable heights
- Exposure to hot and cold conditions
