Job Summary
Overhead Crane Mechanic position requiring safety compliance inspections, repairs, and maintenance of overhead cranes and hoists. Responsibilities include making service recommendations, documenting actions, and assisting with outside services as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have professional tools (sockets, ratchets, and end wrenches up to 1 1⁄4)
- Must be ok with some out-of-town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay.
- Must be able to work in elevated work platforms (Scissor lifts, Boom Lifts & Ladders)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures
- Experience working with voltages up to 24v, 120v, 230v, 480v
