Job Summary
Set up and operate machine tools to perform machining operations using O.I.S., prints, tapes, sketches, and oral instructions. Make machine adjustments for efficiency, use precision instruments to check work against specifications, and pre-set or sharpen cutting tools as required. Replenish coolant, change filters, lubricate equipment, and report any damage or improper machine functions. Provide support to different departments throughout the facility. This 2nd shift role requires onsite attendance five days a week. Candidates need a high school diploma, three years of manual machine tool experience, and two years with CNC milling machines. An A&P license with turbine engine experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in the operation of manual machine tools
- 2 years experience with CNC milling machines
- A&P License with experience on turbine engines
- Associate degree
- Advanced computer skills (1 year)
- This position requires working onsite five days a week
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen
