Job Summary
Overdose Education Manager leads the OENDU Training Team to prevent opioid overdose deaths in NYC, designing and evaluating training initiatives, supervising trainers, and coordinating outreach strategies. Responsibilities include researching best practices for naloxone access, developing and analyzing post-training evaluations (REDCap), creating metrics for reporting and equity-focused outcomes, analyzing data (NDF) to ensure equitable naloxone distribution citywide, generating reports on training initiatives, coordinating Training of Responders/Dispensers/Trainers courses, supervising data reconciliation, and representing OENDU in meetings. The role requires independent initiative, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to travel across NYC, and engagement in equity and public-health activities. Preferred skills include substance use harm reduction knowledge, evaluation design and analysis, team supervision, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position offers benefits and a work-from-home policy allowing up to two days remote per week, with NYC Health Department as the employer.
