Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight within Estes’ network, adhering to FMCSA regulations and safety standards; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain required records, potentially use in-cab technology and handle hazardous materials if endorsed; meet physical demands including heavy lifting and multi-terrain driving; possess a valid CDL-A, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, be 21+, and be within commuting distance of the service center; respond to maintenance needs and collaborate with Fleet Services; home time on regional OTR runs; opportunity for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
- Able to drive tractor trailer per FMCSA regulations
- MVR acceptable
- English reading/writing ability per FMCSA requirements
- Able to lift ~70 lbs
- Able to drive in various terrains and environmental conditions
- Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
- Authorized to work in the United States
