Job Summary
Over the Road Driver position operating tractor/trailer within Estes’ network, with extraboard assignments, requiring adherence to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, safely transporting freight, complying with hazardous materials handling, maintaining required records, using in-cab technology and ELDs, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting customers. The role may involve varied schedules, long-haul routes, and home-time considerations; candidates must meet CDL and licensing requirements, pass medical and road tests, and maintain compliance with drug screening and MVR checks. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years old
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- Residence within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center or work assignment
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
- Ability to drive tractor-trailer per FMCSA requirements
- Ability to pass FMCSA medical exam
- Ability to pass road test
- Must be able to read and speak English at FMCSA requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
