Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight for Estes, following FMCSA regulations and company safety policies. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing cargo, maintaining logs and records, using in-cab technology, and adapting to various terrains and schedules. Must be able to drive in all weather conditions, pass medical and road tests, and meet physical requirements. Endorsements for HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles are required; role involves working away from home domicile for several days and providing professional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
- Ability to meet FMCSA medical requirements
- Ability to pass road test
- Ability to read and speak English
- Able to lift 70 lbs+
- US work authorization
