Job Summary
Deliver products safely, timely, and accurately across the country using 53' dry vans and electronic logging devices. Operate vehicles while complying with all Department of Transportation standards and reporting any defects to maintenance. Maintain a clean driving record with no at-fault accidents within the last three years. Schedule includes an average of 3,000 miles per week with 34-48 hours of home time weekly. Most loads are drop and hook with 98% no-touch freight on pre-planned trips. Candidates must hold a Class A CDL with one year of recent OTR experience and be based within 100 miles of a distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment
- No major FMCSA violations
- Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years
- no restriction on CDL
- ability to maintain a CDL
- based / live within 100 miles of an AFW Distribution Center
- Pre-employment drug screen passed
