Job Summary
Deliver products safely, timely, and accurately across the country using 53' dry vans while operating an electronic logging device. Report vehicle defects to maintenance and comply with all Department of Transportation standards to maintain a clean driving record. Complete pre-planned trips averaging 3,000 miles weekly with 98% no-touch freight, adhering to American Furniture Warehouse's safety expectations. Based within 100 miles of a distribution center, you will earn an average of $80,000 to $130,000 annually with 34-48 hours of home time and access to dogs on the road.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment
- No major FMCSA violations
- Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years
- no restriction on CDL
- ability to maintain a CDL
- based / live within 100 miles of an AFW Distribution Center
- pass a pre-employment drug screen
- pass a pre-employment background check
