Job Summary
Operate oven and de-panning equipment to meet product quality specifications by setting controls for temperature and bake times. Adjust settings during production gaps to eliminate overbaked product, monitor proof size and shape, and notify the supervisor via radio when items are out of specification. Maintain log sheets for Quality Assurance, report equipment problems to maintenance, and ensure high sanitation levels while following safety procedures. Perform other production duties as needed, assist in training new employees, and complete tasks as they arise. This 3rd shift role requires three months of oven experience, basic math skills, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Three months experience and/or training operating the Oven in Manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English
- Ability to write routine quality assurance reports and correspondence in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 - 25 pounds, and occasionally more than 50 pounds with assistance from co-worker and/or mechanic devices
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and Holidays
