Job Summary
Operate ovens and make flame, injector, and speed adjustments to produce quality desserts while maintaining a 5% or less waste rate. Start up equipment, perform changeovers with minimal downtime, and troubleshoot machine failures immediately. Follow GMPs, safety protocols, and food allergen programs; input Statistical Process Control data and recognize product quality variations. Advise supervisors of any issues affecting production or consistency. Maintain area cleanliness and communicate with mixers and quality teams. Requires 6-12 months food manufacturing experience and ability to work the 1st shift (3 AM–3 PM).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months -1 year of experience in a Food Manufacturing
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months to one year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Flexibility to work various hours and shifts
- Must understand the company's food allergen program
- Must be able to understand SPC ( Statistical Process Control ) and input data
- Must be able to tell good quality from poor quality
- Must be able to communicate with mixers, leads & quality of any issues
- Complying with and having thorough knowledge of all Steven Charles product quality standards, policies and procedures
- Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices
