Job Summary
Prospect and canvass for new business sales to grow the short-term insurance portfolio, selling both personal and commercial lines. Manage relationships with clients and prospects while utilizing the sales support function to drive lead generation. Maintain a book of business through independent initiative and face-to-face selling in a collaborative team environment. Requires a valid code B driver's license, own reliable vehicle, and three years of external sales experience. Includes a comprehensive six-week training program and access to a supportive commercial team.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
- Must have your own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle
- Valid code B driver's license
- 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
- Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors
- FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
- RE5 (depending on Dofa)
