Job Summary
The OUTsurance Broker will grow and develop the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance, selling personal lines and commercial lines, and prospecting/canvassing for new business. Requires FAIS/Full Insurance Qualifications and RE5 where applicable, own reliable vehicle with a valid Code B license, and 3 years of external, face-to-face sales experience including lead generation, cold calling, and relationship management. Strong communication, numerical skills, presentation/facilitation abilities, and the capacity to work independently or with a team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
- FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications
- RE5
- Code B driver’s license
- 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
- Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors
