Job Summary
Increase Thryv's penetration into the existing client base and grow the SaaS client base through new sales by contacting assigned clients to nurture relationships and identify additional sales opportunities. Secure new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting and company-initiated programs while executing defined operational processes for client and prospect engagement. Engage with clients face-to-face approximately 50% of the time, with the remainder conducted remotely, requiring a valid driver's license and local residence within a one-hour commute. Exceed sales quotas by educating prospects through the buyer's journey and partnering with marketing to execute sales strategy as new products are introduced.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct sales experience
- preferably in a SaaS role or company
- 2+ years' experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role
- Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships
- Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
