Job Summary
Respond to emergency service calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, performing tire repairs, replacements, and general service at customer locations, on the road, or at STTC. Mount, dismount, balance, and repair truck tires using service vehicles, hydraulic jacks, and heavy tools while maintaining a clean and organized service area. Complete work orders with full customer details, repairs, and mileage before submitting to the Service Manager, and ensure all products leave with proper paperwork. Maintain service vehicles and tools, clean the service truck weekly, and report equipment needs or safety violations immediately. Strive to complete road calls within two hours while adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- 1 year or more related work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of STTC
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form
- Ability to use computer
