Job Summary
Greet and direct guests to resort amenities while loading and unloading golf bags. Retrieve, clean, and transport clubs to storage, maintaining a visible presence at bag drop. Assist golf professionals with staging for corporate outings and help guests with transportation needs and directions upon departure. Transport bags between Club Storage, special event staging areas, and the driving range, where you will set up, break down, and pick up equipment. Wash golf carts, detail and perform routine maintenance, and wash range balls. Perform assigned cleaning duties and cross-train in other areas when requested by a supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Annual MVRs
- Must be trained and certified in CPR and AED on a bi- yearly basis
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Must be aware of surroundings with an understanding of a golf environment
- Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls
- Must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks
- Must be able to endure extended periods of time of standing and walking
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to sit occasionally
- Must be able to regularly be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Must be able to regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
- Must be able to regularly be exposed to extreme heat
- Must be able to regularly be exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to regularly be exposed to moderate noise levels
- Must be able to cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations
- Must be able to report any accidents immediately
- Must be able to follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times
- Must be able to obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings
- Must be able to use a seat belt
- Must be able to follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy
- Must be able to never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely
