Job Summary
Lead and manage daily operations of the Newcomb OSHC service, including Monday to Friday coverage from 6:45am to 8:45am and 2:45pm to 6:15pm, plus two hours of weekly admin. Oversee a team of educators, build relationships with children, families, and school communities, and ensure the well-being and safety of every child in your care. Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment by designing and facilitating activities that foster learning and creativity. This role supports holistic development within MACSEYE's network of early childhood programs across the Melbourne Archdiocese, partnering with schools and parishes to foster a connected environment for children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Relevant certifications (CPR, First Aid)
- Australian work rights
- Diploma level qualification as recognised by ACECQA completed or working towards
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to making a positive difference
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Leadership capability to manage a team of Educators
- Ability to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children
- Ability to design and facilitate activities that foster learning and creativity
