Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative responsible for creating new prospects and clients, building relationships, and achieving sales goals within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include designing action plans to generate new business, maintaining sales route records, conducting sales calls and meetings with target referral prospects, gaining customer commitment for referrals, updating management on account status, attending weekly sales meetings and events, maintaining a customer database, delivering group presentations, and integrating sales with marketing activities. Requirements include 3+ years of sales experience in business development/outside sales, industry knowledge or ability to learn, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a self-motivated, trustworthy, organized demeanor.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years proven sales experience in a business development role, preferably outside sales
- Industry knowledge or ability to seek knowledge if new to the industry
- Strong communication, problem solving, and negotiations skills
- Self-motivated, trustworthy, confident, and organized
