Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for assigned territory/industry. Generates and develops new business to meet production goals, maintains and nurtures client relationships, negotiates contracts, plans and manages the sales territory, presents sales proposals, and coordinates with branch inside sales and management to align on products, services, and policies. Requires strong product knowledge, workflow in trade events and sales meetings, and thorough documentation of client paperwork; proficiency with MS Office 365 and Eclipse ERP is preferred. Must be able to travel as part of territory management and operate in a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in the same or similar industry preferred
- Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365
- Experience with distribution-specific ERP systems, preferably Eclipse
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal)
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lift to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, endure frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test
