Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative in the Charlotte NC territory focused on developing and expanding Vaughn Belting’s client base. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, prospecting via calls, networking, and referrals, traveling within the assigned territory (including quarterly Sales Meetings in Spartanburg, SC), and achieving sales targets. Requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, strong understanding of technical products, CRM proficiency, and a track record of meeting quotas. The role emphasizes ethical sales practices, timely follow-up, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products or services.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar sales role in a distribution setting
- Strong knowledge of Vaughn products
- Ability to understand different technical products and explain them to others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information professionally
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling within your assigned territory
- Goal-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong PC and software skills with CRM software systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
