Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative sells products and services to current and new clientele, grows sales across multiple product lines, develops relationships within the industry, maintains extensive product knowledge, communicates orders/quotes/forecasts professionally, supports customers with product availability and knowledge, follows internal processes, stays highly organized, plans daily activities to maximize face-to-face visits and calls, delivers compelling presentations to close deals, handles issue resolution, and travels within a designated sales territory (with occasional overnight/travel for events and meetings). Strong interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, are required to succeed in a high-paced environment. Prior experience in laminate/wood working and fabrication knowledge are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years laminate/wood working industry preferred
- At least five years of related experience required
- General understanding of specifications in relation to the A&D Field and Fabrication
- Clean driving record
