Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Manage and grow an assigned outside sales territory through regular customer visits, follow-up, and relationship building with contractors, plumbers, HVAC professionals, and builders. Prospect for new trade customers to expand market share while recommending plumbing, HVAC, PVF, hydronic, and related products that help customers complete jobs efficiently. Drive revenue growth by identifying bids, projects, replacement opportunities, and value-added solutions, partnering with branch, counter, inside sales, purchasing, and vendor teams to close business. Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information to support territory planning and sales activity in the Woburn/Waltham area.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, PVF, hydronics, wholesale distribution, construction supply, or a related field
- Proven ability to build relationships, earn trust, and grow business with trade customers
- Outside sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing sales experience
- Strong prospecting, communication, follow-up, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and communicate technical product information in a consultative, customer-focused way
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing time, territory activity, and competing priorities
- Team-oriented attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service through the branch network
