Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative (OSR) grows Sunstate’s revenue and market share by acquiring new business and expanding relationships within existing accounts. The role focuses on providing equipment rental solutions through consultative selling, disciplined prospecting, territory and account management, and presentation of compelling proposals while negotiating pricing to balance customer value with Sunstate’s objectives. Responsibilities include pipeline development, territory planning, customer engagement at jobsites and offices, educating customers on products and applications, collaborating with internal teams to ensure satisfaction, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends and competitive dynamics; occasional support for equipment deliveries/pickups and adherence to safety/operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED Preferred but Not Required
- No specific degree required
- 2-4 Years of Relevant Experience
- Strong understanding of equipment and services or ability to learn quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to climb into/out of trucks and equipment trailers; lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 90 lbs occasionally
- DOT medical card and valid driver’s license
- Drug and alcohol testing policies compliance
