Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings. Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations, present compelling sales proposals, and complete required sales documentation (dispositioning, order entry, reporting). Travel to and from assigned territories, with extensive outdoor activity and minimal time in an office. Demonstrate engaging interpersonal skills, English language proficiency, and the ability to travel, work evenings/weekends as needed, and operate a personal vehicle. Position emphasizes face-to-face, field-based sales of high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services; base salary plus incentives with potential total annual earnings over $100,000.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, satisfactory driving record, and use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Experience in sales (2+ years) preferred
- Knowledge of cable/telecommunications services a plus
