Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative at Spectrum engages with residential customers through face-to-face interactions to acquire new customers for Spectrum’s high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. Responsibilities include conducting consultative needs analyses, presenting sales proposals aligned with customer needs, completing sales documentation and reporting, participating in sales meetings and training, achieving monthly sales targets, and monitoring competitors within the territory. The role requires outdoor work (approx. 90%), occasional evenings and weekends, and travel to/around assigned territories. Candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong English communication skills, the ability to travel, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
