Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative for the Seattle area responsible for growing the customer base and selling our millwork and building-material product lines within the territory. You will sell to current customers and call on new ones, coordinate with branch and inside sales to optimize product mix, and lead the sales effort across the territory. The role requires traveling within the territory, strong customer service skills, and an ability to develop sales through relationship-building and account management. Must have experience in outside/territory sales (ideally in construction/building materials), knowledge of millwork and 2-step distribution, and be comfortable with a company vehicle and a safety-sensitive, drug-screened environment. Proficiency with CRM/ERP tooling (DMSi Agility a plus) and a collaborative team mindset are valued areas.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6-10 years sales experience, preferably in outside/territory sales or construction/building materials industry
- Knowledge of millwork; understanding of 2-step distribution
- Ability to travel throughout the territory
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of DMSi Agility software a plus
- Ability to drive a company vehicle; Safety Sensitive position
- Subject to routine drug screening
