Job Summary
Drive profitable sales by selling, marketing, and demonstrating electrical, data communication, and wireless products to new and existing customers. Generate business volume by creating tailored solutions, collaborating with leadership on sales strategies, and assisting clients with product selection and application. Maintain accurate records of sales calls and expenses while resolving payment issues and reporting on market trends and competitor pricing. Utilize digital tools and CRM systems to manage the customer purchasing lifecycle, participate in professional development to maintain technical capabilities, and travel constantly to offsite locations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience
- Valid Driver's License
- High School or GED
- Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs
- Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence
- Product and application knowledge
- Highly self-motivated
- Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Frequently – 21% to 50%
- Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Constantly – at least 51%
- Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Constantly – at least 51%
- Must be able to handle up to 10 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Must be able to handle up to 25 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Must be able to handle up to 50 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and/or exposure to heat and cold - Occasionally – up to 20%
