Job Summary
Scout and pursue new project opportunities through research, outreach, and digital channels to expand the customer base. Forge lasting relationships with potential and existing clients to unlock long-term value, while designing and executing sales initiatives aligned with growth and profitability goals. Develop compelling pricing proposals, close deals, and collaborate with finance and operations to monitor sales performance and maximize ROI. Represent REIC by attending trade shows, networking events, and job sites to maintain strong market visibility, partnering with inside sales, service, and operations to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of proven success in outside sales, focused on new business development and customer engagement within the equipment rental, construction, or related industries
- Experience with cold calling, territory expansion, and account growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical abilities, including forecasting, pricing, and P&L understanding
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital sales tools
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and regionally for trade shows or company events
- A hunter's mindset - passionate about growing new business and expanding existing accounts
- A customer-first approach, understanding jobsite needs and providing real solutions
- Strong negotiation, communication, and business acumen to drive profitable growth
- Persistence and follow-through - you stay organized, close the loop, and make things happen
- A team-player attitude, collaborating with inside sales and operations to deliver results
- Solid equipment or construction industry knowledge and a curiosity to keep learning
