Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative promoting and selling plastics products to business and industrial establishments primarily in-person within the Philadelphia Metro market. Develop new accounts through prospecting, networking, cold calling and referrals; provide sales support to existing accounts, close daily opportunities, and continually expand the customer base. Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing accounts; communicate with sales team/management on order status and customer concerns; maintain product and technical knowledge in the plastics industry; follow up on leads and opportunities; contribute to team efforts. Requires 2+ years of outside sales experience in plastics/industrial distribution or graphics-related sales, own a personal vehicle, basic computer skills, and a willingness to travel with some overnight travel; must be a team player.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience in plastics, industrial distribution or graphics-related sales with a track record of exceeding sales goals
- Personal vehicle in good condition
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness and desire to travel almost exclusively with some overnight travel
- Team player with positive attitude
