Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to own and grow a defined territory in Texas, building long-term client relationships and closing rental equipment deals. Responsibilities include traveling to meet existing and prospective customers face-to-face, presenting equipment solutions tailored to job needs, negotiating and closing sales in line with company guidelines, coordinating with dispatch and operations for delivery, tracking leads and sales activity, and staying current on competitor pricing and market trends. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of outside sales experience, strong negotiation and customer-service skills, the ability to independently manage a territory, and a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record. Compensation includes commission on rentals with emphasis on territory growth and meeting rental sales goals. Working conditions involve both office and fieldwork in all weather, around heavy equipment and machinery.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of outside sales experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong negotiation, networking, and customer service skills
- Self-starter who can manage a territory independently
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be 24 years of age or older
