Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Manage established and new commercial construction customers by conducting daily rigorous travel to jobsites and contractor offices. Represent NEFCO professionally while making systematic sales calls, introducing new products, and executing joint sales with vendor reps. Own customer relationships through special or emergency deliveries, consult on large quotes, and resolve complaints or delinquent accounts as needed. Utilize market intelligence and the NEFCO CRM system to identify leads, record activities, and facilitate transactional follow-up. Assist inside sales during the quote process, develop territory sales plans, and attend required training and regional meetings. Maintain flexible scheduling with normal hours from 6:00am to 5:00pm, ensuring accurate timecard review and approval for direct reports.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong ability to work in fast pace, high pressure environment
- Excellent technology skills and capability to adeptly operate NEFCO's CRM software, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be goal oriented, have personal integrity and a sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be organized with good time management skills
- Possess strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
- Maintains excellent regular attendance, punctuality at work to ensure a high-quality and timely response for customers
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Must have a valid driver's license
- driver background check must show a record of sustained safe driving
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Must be flexible in scheduling sales calls
- Normal operating hours at commercial construction jobsites begin at 6:00am
- home offices are typically open until 5:00pm

Desired Qualifications
- Degree is preferred
- industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- previous sales experience with mechanical or electrical contractors
- Previous outside sales experience is also a plus
