Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative responsible for developing new rental and sales opportunities in construction, equipment rental, and contractor markets within the Tri-City and surrounding markets. Will conduct job-site visits with contractors, project managers, and purchasing decision-makers; build a robust sales pipeline; prepare rental quotations and proposals; negotiate pricing on equipment rentals; collaborate with inside sales and operations to coordinate deliveries and pickups; maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities; track lost rentals for insights; support Texada Rental Software and CRM usage; provide visibility through reporting; promote additional goods and services; maintain up-to-date product knowledge and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Also responsible for documenting sales activity and opportunities and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of construction, equipment rental, or industrial sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage a territory and work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Competitive, disciplined, and goal-oriented self-starter
- Solid understanding of the complete sales process
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
