Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow an established book of business in the Burton, MI territory within an industrial distribution environment. Responsibilities include prospecting, networking, and relationship-building; collaborating with Inside Sales and Operations to ensure order accuracy; meeting with customers to understand needs and provide product solutions; preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, and maintaining ongoing customer communication; maintaining strong product knowledge of industrial fasteners, tools, and related products; and representing the company professionally in the field and within the community.
Required Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution, fasteners, MRO, or related industries
- Self-motivated with strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage existing accounts while actively developing new business
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing territory activity
- Proficient computer and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
