Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative for an industrial metal manufacturing company in the Midwest. Develop new business by working with contractors, fabricators, OEMs, and distributors; present custom manufacturing solutions; collaborate with engineering and production teams on design and feasibility; prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close new business; manage a multi-state territory with regular travel; maintain pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer records; represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience selling within a specialized metal manufacturing environment
- Experience in custom profile-based or process-driven sales
- Proven ability to generate new business
- Comfortable discussing technical requirements with customers and internal teams
- Experience selling into construction, building products, or related industries
- Ability to manage a multi-state territory with regular travel
