Job Summary
Conduct outside sales activities within the Greater Harrisonburg/Charlottesville territory, calling on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas, and national accounts. Develop and implement plans to capitalize on sales opportunities by performing needs assessments, creating proposals, and presenting new product updates. Build long-term value-based relationships with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets while utilizing supportive marketing materials. Manage accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams including inside sales, customer service, production, and distribution. Focus on prospecting to grow the business. Complete a short assessment before applying.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or two-plus years of sales experience
- Hunter sales mentality
- Motivation as self-starter
- Automotive background/knowledge
- Integrity and honesty
- Must live in the territory
- Must be able to call on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts
- Must be able to utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing material
- Must be able to develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory
- Must be able to work with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets
- Must be able to perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals and presentations
- Must be able to work with cross-functional teams (inside sales, customer service, production, distribution)
