Job Summary
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling FleetPride products and services to current and prospective customers in a competitive B2B environment. Key responsibilities include maximizing sales and gross profit within a defined territory, account planning, preparing for sales calls, assessing customer needs, and maintaining open dialogue about FleetPride's value proposition. A successful candidate will have at least 1 year of B2B sales experience, preferably in heavy-duty equipment distribution, and must possess strong communication skills, mechanical inclination, and proficiency in sales automation tools.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of B2B sales experience, preferred
- Heavy-duty equipment distribution sales or related industry experience is a plus
- Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated mechanical inclination and interest in FleetPride’s industry
- Experience with CRM and other sales force automation tools
- MS Office Suite proficiency with ability to conduct basic database tasks in Excel
