Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative/Estimator positions involve seeking new opportunities within defined territories while developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include developing existing accounts and pursuing new business via cold calling or strategic selling, analyzing opportunities, identifying key personnel, and solving problems to strengthen the company's position in target accounts. Manages scaffolding projects from start to finish, determines customer needs, estimates equipment and labor for erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and requires reading architectural plans. Requires strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, a valid in-state driver's license, US work authorization, and ability to obtain clearance on federal job sites; OSHA 30 and construction experience are preferred qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or prior sales experience
- Prior outside sales experience and/or customer service experience
- Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills a must
- Ability to read architectural plans
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record
- Authorization to work in the US with the ability to obtain clearance onto Federal job sites
