Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative responsible for managing and expanding the client base in the North Carolina territory, building strong customer relationships, delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and meeting/exceeding sales targets. The role requires travel within the assigned territory, making a minimum of 35 sales calls per week, attending industry trade shows, staying knowledgeable about Vaughn products and competitors, communicating effectively with customers, maintaining accurate activity records, and using CRM/Microsoft Office tools. The position is full-time, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and potential extended hours; travel to Spartanburg, SC for quarterly Sales Meetings is expected. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar sales role in a distribution setting
- Strong knowledge of Vaughn products
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them to others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while traveling within territory
- Goal-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Valid driver27s license and clean driving record
- CRM software experience (e.g., Salesforce, etc.) and Microsoft Office
