Job Summary
Execute sales calls and close deals across assigned geographic routes while maintaining inventory levels and merchandising standards. Represent Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country to customers, prospecting for new business and conducting periodic reviews with decision-makers. Transport and replace Point of Sale advertising, monitor competitor activities, and ensure all equipment meets quality assurance and safety standards. Meet or exceed sales goals and marketing objectives within designated territories while maintaining professional relationships with co-workers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years previous sales experience
- Above-average math skills and ability to figure profits, margins, retails, and financials
- Valid driver's license
- Motor vehicle driving history that meets CCBCHC guidelines
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL
- Must be able to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds
- Must be able to reach above head height
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to reach
- Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 10%
- Must be available to work some weekends and some holidays
- Requires pre-employment drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- 4-year college degree
- Additional sales training or education
- Food and beverage industry experience
- Ability to learn Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn Margin Minder (or comparable program)
- Class A CDL (in locations where it is preferred)
- Ability to create and conduct sales presentations
