Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Outside Sales Representatives are responsible for presenting in-home sales opportunities, building trust and educating customers, identifying customer needs, evaluating home improvement project options, negotiating and closing sales, and submitting documentation in a timely manner. Candidates should be highly goal-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish rapport easily and possess a valid driver’s license. None of the positions allow for relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screen, credit check, and criminal check
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Basic math skills (particularly making calculations using a Tape measure)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn the sales process
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience or training a plus (particularly in-home sales)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Solid telephone skills
