Job Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will present in-home sales opportunities and build trust with customers while identifying their needs and wants. Your role involves evaluating and specifying home improvement project options, building proposals, negotiating, and closing sales. You will attend sales/training meetings, service customers at showrooms and events, and maintain a professional appearance. Successful candidates will be passionate, goal-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, along with the ability to learn a proven sales process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screen, credit check, and criminal check
- Basic computer skills
- Solid telephone skills
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Basic math skills (particularly making calculations using a tape measure)
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience or training a plus (particularly in-home sales)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus

- Must display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills
